Our goal is to add value to the community through job creation, training and by ensuring local partners have sustainable skills to compete today and lead tomorrow.
A Squamish Nation Endorsed Business
Bridgemans is extremely pleased to be approved by Nch’kay Development Corporation for inclusion on the Squamish Nation Business Registry. Inclusion on the registry means that we are eligible for endorsement by the Squamish Nation through Nch’kay on a project-by-project basis. We look forward to a prosperous future together!
Bridgemans Kitamaat Joint Venture
In December of 2018, Bridgemans Marine Transport and the Haisla Nation formed a joint venture partnership, Bridgemans Kitamaat Joint Venture to offer passenger transportation and marine survey services to support clients involved with the LNG project. Close engagement with the Haisla and First Nations communities has been an essential component Bridgemans’ growth and continued success.
Kitimat Modernization Project
Bridgemans takes great pride in its history of cooperation and partnership with First Nations communities on the Pacific coast of Canada. As a partnership group, we have a long history of successfully doing business with First Nations communities.
Our work in Kitimat began with the 2014 Rio Tinto Alcan project, where we provided housing and hotel services for 600 workers aboard the inshore floatel Silja Festival.
