Richmond, BC, Canada, November 2021 – Bridgemans Services Group is pleased to announce its most recent accommodation vessel, MV Saga, a 166 meter former Baltic Sea cruise ferry.

The ship features 635 cabins with private ensuite washrooms, full-service buffet style restaurant, dedicated grab & go facility, auditorium, two bars, conference rooms, private offices and a gym with access to an outdoor sports court. The car deck has been converted to a logistics command center, including locker rooms with wash stations, covid testing stations, security offices and CTV waiting area. The installation of two CTV platforms will facilitate crew transfers while at sea

“This vessel will enable us to fulfill the needs of companies who require a large number of cabins, with all of the features of a land based camp, anywhere in the world,” said Brian Grange, President of Bridgemans. “Requiring minimal support, and equipped with a custom CTV platform, MV Saga can continue to provide accommodations offshore for prolonged periods of time, while providing the best workforce accommodations and amenities in the industry.”

MV Saga is the fourth ship Bridgemans has converted into floating accommodations, supporting projects around the world. Following the recent retirement of Bridgemans’ MV Bluefort, this ship is ideally suited for resource companies looking to rapidly deploy full-service accommodations and a command centre for early works projects in remote and offshore locations throughout the world.
